This newly renovated Downtown Cottage is 1750 square feet, has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and will sleep up to 8 guests. A nice kitchen w/breakfast bar, fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, all the supplies and appliances to cook during your stay. The entertainment room has a flat screen TV, premium cable, as well as puzzles, games and books. There is a laundry room with washer, dryer and utility sink, as well as an additional shower. The Dining room table can be extended and will seat 6 - 9. A covered front porch allows you a shady spot to watch people stroll by. Out the back door you can BBQ dinner while enjoying the view of the Columbia River from the second story deck. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and ready for a comfortable night stay. Free Wi-Fi.While staying in the home you can easily walk 2 blocks to the heart of downtown Hood River. Check out the unique shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and movie theaters. There is a farmers market a couple blocks away on Saturdays during the summer in the parking lot directly across from Full Sail Brewery. You can enjoy windsurfing, kiteboarding or paddle boarding on the Columbia River. The Hood River is not far away, and is great for fishing, hiking and rafting. The area is full of mountain biking and hiking trails. If you are looking for some great places to eat you can walk to over 25 restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and wineries. Oregon is known for their beer and wine. Hood River has a handful of the best. If you are looking to enjoy some winter sports. Mt Hood is a 30 minute drive from the Cottage.
