Located within walking distance to downtown, this ultra modern loft was a great lodging experience for my wife and I, and two other couples. I would recommend it highly to those parties traveling with couples. The three bedrooms are all equipped with King beds and give each couple the privacy and comfort of having their own "space". The furnishings are very high quality (super soft beds and rugs) and very visually appealing. Given that this townhome has a very modern feel, it can be a little loud. The echoing is likely due to the very high ceilings, large windows, hardwoods throughout all the living spaces, steel beams and railings. There's not a lot of warm accents that contribute to noise cancellation. This is just another reason I would recommend it for couples that are like minded in there daily schedules. With that said, the home is very well built and the downstairs rooms stay quiet even when the upstairs is in use. If you're bringing children with early bed times, it's probably better that they take one of the downstairs rooms. If you're looking to use the BBQ while you're there, it's located on a down stairs back patio that you have to access through a bedroom. It's a little weird as to why it's located there, but I'm sure it has something to do with the HOA company not allowing BBQs on the main deck that faces the city and the Columbia River. All said, it was a beautiful home with plush amenities that I would definitely re-book the next time I visit Hood River!

When we arrived to the property we were greeted with a personal note and bottle of wine from Amy. We've been coming every spring to Hood River for 9 years now and have always rented a house. I have never had anybody write a note and give us a bottle of wine. Very personal and professional! The place was clean and had everything that we needed. This is definitely a #1 on our list to rent again.

We were on a working retreat. The home was incredibly well appointed, it was close to everything and allowed us to walk to lunch and dinner for breaks. We even squeezed in a little time to enjoy Hood River. The host thought of everything and left us details of the area, a bottle of wine, and gave us a late check out to make the most of our retreat.
